Rotor supplies DNS

The Dutch company Rotor B.V. has a contract with Chinese OEM?s for the delivery of Rotor NL electric motors. These electric motors will be installed in nine new ships under construction at Dalian New Shipyard (DNS), a member of the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIS). The newbuilding contract includes an option of another seven vessels.

The 80 / 160 kW pole changing electric motors will be used to power the electro-hydraulic steering gear, the hydraulic mooring winch and the fans.
