Samsung clinches offshore orders

Samsung Heavy Industries has secured an order for a semi-submersible drilling rig from a European ship owner and an FPSO from an Asian ship owner. The $481 million rig is slated for delivery in August 2008 and the $426 million FPSO will be delivered in June 2009.
