Samsung to build Norwegian drill ship

Samsung Heavy Industries has won an order to build a drill ship for Ferncliff Drilling in Norway. The new vessel will be delivered in 2009 at a cost of $500 million. The ship can drill to a depth of 11,000 metres, is 222 metres long and has a displacement of 97,000 tonnes.
