Second Ulstein PSV delivered in Brazil

These are the first two Ulstein designed X-Bow PSVs to be built in Brazil, being relatively small vessels to the Petrobras PSV3000 spcification. the next four vessels of the six-ship order will be to the larger PX105 design, complying with the PSV 4500 tender. All vessels will be working on eight-year contracts for Petrobras. The contracts with Ulstein include design, engineering, main equipment and commissioning follow-up.

CBO Pacifico measures 76.3m (length overall) by 16m (breadth), and the depth to main deck is 7.5m. The cargo deck area is 660m². She has diesel electric propulsion and azimuthing propellers, and can keep a speed of about 15 knots. CBO Pacifico complies with the DNV Clean notation.

The four PX105 ships will be delivered during 2012–2013. CBO has two other Ulstein P106 PSVs in its fleet, delivered in 2006 and 2007.
