Second Ultra Voyager for Aker Yards

Royal Caribbean International (RCI) and Aker Yards, confirmed an order of a second Ultra Voyager, the world’s largest cruise ship. The contract is valued at some $700 million.

This 160,000gt 3,600 passenger vessel will be built at the Turku facility of Kvaerner Masa-Yards for delivery in spring 2007. The yard is currently constructing the lead unit in the Ultra Voyager class which is scheduled for delivery in May 2006.
