Shipbuilders to meet in Berlin

Global shipbuilding executives will meet in Berlin, Germany, at the end of October for the 18th annual JECKU Top Executive Meeting.

From 28 to 30 October, the JECKU convention, an acronym of Japan, Europe, China, Korea and the United States, will see the leaders in world shipbuilding discuss the impact of the economic recession and the situation in newbuilding demand.

High-ranking management from STX, Hanjin Heavy Industries, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering and the Korean Shipbuilder?s Association are among the many executive delegates to attend the meeting.
