Shipyard to be established in Azerbaijan

It is intended to construct a shipbuilding yard in the Garadagh District, Baku, by upgrading an existing shiprepair yard. Azerbaijan state-owned Caspian Sea Shipping Company?s chairman, Aydin Bashirov, told journalists that there are four shiprepair facilities in Baku and the company is negotiating with a number of Russian and Korean companies on the construction of a yard to build ships and tankers.
