SK expands fleet

SK Shipping in South Korea has placed an order for two 318,000 dwt double hull VLCCs. Total contract price is $250 million and delivery is scheduled for second half of 2009. The company also ordered two 105,000 dwt product carriers at the price of $130 million with delivery in first half 2009.

The shipowner did not disclose where these newbuildings would be built.
