STN Atlas extends range

Radarpilot 1000 from STN Atlas is available with 304mm (12in) or 405mm (16in) displays and features a zoom function to enlarge the display of objects being observed. Its `clean sweep` feature eliminates interference from rain and crests of waves in rough seas, says the company. All settings, data and routes can be saved on the unit`s hard disk and it can be connected via an Ethernet network to the company`s new DEBEG 3250 Inmarsat -B terminal which features an antenna weighing 50kg, says STN Atlas.

Also new is the Atlas 7000 operating control system which incorporates a gyro compass, and the SATLOG DEBEG 4124 satellite navigation system which enables speed and position recording without the need for differential signals, says the company.
