Strategic Marine delivers crewboat

The 40m vessel, which is part of a multi-vessel contract, was built at Strategic Marine’s Vietnam shipyard then shipped to its Singapore yard for technical fittings and delivery.

Ron Anderson, executive director of Strategic Marine said: “This has been, and continues to be, a great order and a great client relationship for us. The Jati Six is good to go, and we’re looking forward to completing the multi-vessel order on time and to full specification with the Jati Eight.”

Jati Six, which has been classed by ABS, can carry up to 58 passengers and operates with a crew of 10. The 50 tonne vessel features Cummins KTA engines and can reach speeds of up to 25 knots.

The larger Jati Eight can carry up to 70 passengers and is scheduled for delivery at the end of this year.

Strategic Marine delivered the 45m Jati Five earlier this year.
