STX clinches four chemical tankers

STX Shipbuilding secured an order for four 10,600DWT chemical tankers plus four options from Clipper Group Management at a total price of $140millionb for the eight vessels. Thy will measure 116.50metres long, 20metres wide, 11.70metres deep, have a speed of 13.6 knots and will be delivered during 2006. As at today, the South Korean shipbuilder has secured 103 ships worth $3.11billion.
