Tank coating at Hellenic

Hellenic Shipyards has completed approximately 70,000 m2 of tank coating on the 29,526 dwt product carrier Richard G Matthiesen. The vessel is owned by Ocean Ships of the USA and chartered to Military Sealift Command.

Coating work was carried out in co-operation with internationally renowned contractor Muhlhan. Some steel renewals were required prior to coating, and the yard also carried out general repairs. The ship was at the Skaramanga yard for 76 days in all.
