The Motor Ship Marine Propulsion Conference 2002

Importer

The 24th annual Motor Ship Marine Propulsion Conference, set for April 10-11, 2002 in Copenhagen, is rapidly taking shape as the meeting place for technical people concerned with the design, building, operation and maintenance of ships and their propulsion systems. Topics to be covered include key aspects of main diesel engine design and operation, ranging from smokeless operation and emissions, alternative fuels, lubrication, new engine projects, redundancy and contra-rotation options to issues surrounding propellers and hull forms. Past Motor Ship conferences have hosted spirited debate during question sessions, breaks and evening gatherings, and next year?s event will be no exception. For a broad view of propulsion technology today there is no substitute for The Motor Ship?s annual fixture on the marine industry calendar. If you would like to present a paper before some 200 of your industry colleagues, please contact the editor, Dan Thisdell, on tel +44 (0)20 8722 6041, fax +44 (0)20 8722 6097, e-mail d.thisdell @cumulusmedia.co.uk or by post at The Motor Ship, Anne Boleyn House, 9-13 Ewell Road, Cheam, Surrey SM3 8BZ United Kingdom.
