Training software update

Maritime Education Sweden has issued version 2.0 of its Maritime Communications GMDSS training software to incorporate changes in IMO regulations.

The software is used by deck officers as a preparation for GMDSS courses, and as a refresher afterwards. It is also used by training institutes as a complement to traditional teaching and simulator training. The price for one licence, which allows any number of officers on one vessel to use the software, is $790.
