Two more Musica class for Aker

Aker Yards and MSC Cruises have signed a contract, subject to financing, for building a further two cruise ships of 89,000 gt Musica-class. The vessels will be built at Aker Yards, Saint-Nazaire and delivered in February 2011 and February 2012 respectively. These will be the fifth and sixth in the series and will join sister ships MSC Musica, MSC Orchestra, MSC Poesia (April 2008) and MSC Magnifica (2010). Like their sister ships, the 2,500 passengers newbuildings will feature cutting-edge technology and innovative design with 85 % of the staterooms will be outside accommodation and 65 % of the total number of staterooms will have balconies.
