UASC chooses Marorka for energy management

Marorka chief executive Ole Skatka Jensen hails UASC's ambition to offer environmentally friendly transportation

The contract follows trials undertaken with Marorka systems on two UASC vessels and will see the energy management solutions deployed across the existing fleet and on newbuilds. Wallee Al Dawood, chief operating officer, UASC noted that the Marorka Wallboard had delivered “verifiable fuel savings and significant eco-efficiency benefits, as well as greater transparency”.

Ole Skatka Jensen, chief executive officer, Marorka added: “The partnership between UASC and Marorka will ensure that UASC has the most advanced energy management solution available for its entire fleet, and that the fleet is operated in the most cost efficient and environmentally friendly way.”
