UMC launches into selling equipment

Importer

The leading underwater ship maintenance specialist company, UMC International, has launched a range of hull cleaning equipment based on their successful track record of in house design and build facilities. This equipment is now available for purchase.

The catalyst for the decision to sell the equipment has been the huge amount of interest being shown, from all over the world, in UMC?s unique hull cleaning machine MINI PAMPER. This machine has up to date technology adapted to underwater cleaning. Its advanced cleaning mechanism has scrub pressure control, and the diver can ensure only the required amount or pressure is set to meet the needs of the nature of marine fouling encountered and the type of paint coating. In support of MINI PAMPER, UMC has made available their full range of hull cleaning equipment and associated supportive spares. This includes a smaller twin brush cleaning machine, a single brush hand-cleaning machine, propeller polishing tools, together with various brushes and polishing pads.

UMC is also marketing a revolutionary new underwater cutting tool. The system is an underwater adaptation of an air plasma arc cutting system, which requires no consumables. This system can save dramatic amounts of time on site due to its fast and accurate cutting speed. Furthermore, expensive consumables are not required providing further savings for the contractor and client alike. Vast interest has already been registered from diving contractors and salvage companies.
