Vinashin gets engine technology

Man B&W will transfer technology for the assembly and manufacturing of hydraulic machinery to the Viet Nam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (Vinashin) to assist in the modernisation of its production lines.

The aim is to provide engines for domestic shipyards and for exports in the future. This will also give the industry access to modern shipbuilding technology enabling it to increase the industry’s revenue as well as reduce the price of its products.
