Vinashin launches another Diamond

A 53,000 dwt Diamond class bulker was launched recently at Ha Long Shipbuilding facility, an affiliate of the Vinashin. Named ?Blue Diamond?, this vessel is the second of a series of fifteen 53,000 dwt bulk carriers to be built by Vinashin under its contract with the Graig Group, a UK-based international ship owning and shipping services provider.

The $26.5 million vessel is 190m long and 32m wide and was designed by Denmark?s CarlBro.
