The 31st Motorship Propulsion and Emissions conference drew to a successful close in Copenhagen today.

After a morning of discussion centred around various emissions-related topics, including exhaust gas abatement technology and the impact of the latest Marpol regulations, the formal business concluded with a shipowners’ discussion session.

The event concluded with a lunch and tour of the MAN Diesel House Museum, with two historic engines being started and run for the occasion.

Some 150 delegates enjoyed the conference. The 2010 Motorship Conference will return to the popular maritime city of Hamburg.
