GasLog LNG carrier delivered by SHI
GasLog Warsaw is a Mark III Flex Plus carrier with low pressure dual fuel two-stroke (X-DF) propulsion.
“This is the 1st vessel with 0.07% boil off rate & reliquefaction providing the customer the lowest unit freight cost and maximum flexibility,” said Monaco-headquartered GasLog in a statement on Twitter.
The vessel has been chartered to a wholly-owned subsidiary of US-headquartered Cheniere Energy, prior to the commencement of its eight-year fixed-term charter with a subsidiary of Spanish utility company Endesa in May 2021.
GasLog Gladstone
In March, GasLog took delivery of the GasLog Gladstone, which immediately commenced its 10-year charter to a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell.
In the same month, a GasLog subsidiary signed a long-term time charter party agreement with LNG Marine Transport, the principal LNG shipping entity of Japan’s JERA, for its existing uncommitted newbuild vessel, HN 2274.
GasLog is scheduled to take delivery of the vessel, a 180,000 cbm Mark III Flex Plus design with low pressure two stroke propulsion, from SHI in April 2020, at which point it will commence the 12-year fixed-term time charter.
In a March statement on GasLog’s website, Paul Wogan, CEO of GasLog, said the company had ordered or chartered six newbuild vessels on long-term contracts since April 2018.
