GTT LNGC tank design for DSME

As part of this order, GTT will provide the design and associated engineering services for the tanks of the vessel, which will offer a capacity of 174,000 m3.

The LNGC tanks will be fitted with the GTT NO96 GW membrane containment system which is said to improve thermomechanical efficiency. The primary and secondary membranes are made of Invar, a 36% nickel-steel alloy measuring 0.7mm in thickness. The primary membrane contains the LNG cargo, while the secondary membrane, identical to the primary, ensures a reported 100% redundancy in case of leakage.
