CCS awards AiP to LH2 fuel supply system
The approval was awarded following close cooperation with Weishi Energy Technology during the evaluation process, which assessed the system principle, process flow, safety as well as the reliability of the marine LH2 supply system.
The system’s design includes a liquefied hydrogen containment tank and cold box, supercooled hydrogen storage technology, heat exchange technology, regulated hydrogen supply technology and subcooled hydrogenation technology.
The system has been designed for potential applications with hydrogen fuel cells, and the system has been designed to be corrosion and salt-alkali resistant in high humidity marine environments.
CCS and Weishi Energy Technology have agreed to cooperate on the approval of hydrogen fuel cells, and to collaborate in the supply of products and technical support for the application of fuel cell-powered vessels. The two also plan to work together to promote the industrialisation of LH2 technology in China.
