Vibration monitoring certified

Nico says that the approval qualifies it to evaluate and report vibration measurements on rotating ship machinery in accordance with GL requirements. Dart Automation has also recently received DAC accreditation as an ISO 17025 laboratory authorised to calibrate and certify pressure (up to 600bar) and electrical (1,000V) measurements. Dart has won a three year service contract with ADNATCO/ NGSCO to carry out Vibration monitoring and data analysis on eight LNG vessels

Nico international has been providing vibration analysis services to our customers for several years using a conventional Entek IRD analyser. Following the market trend, Nico invested in upgrading irs vibration monitoring and data analysis equipment with Vibxpert Ex, an intrinsically safe, trending package, with dual channels, Omnitrend software and web reporting features. Additionally Nico acquired a separate octave band sound analyser to measure and determine noise levels. The main benefit of Vibxpert assisted vibration measurement and data collection from identified measuring points of rotating machineries is support of software-generated trend and deviation reports.
