Nobody wants cargo system downtime now rates are improving

Rolls-Royce has developed a range of Safer Deck Systems that now includes a safer way of handling wires and hoses.

Markets continue to shift up and down but since summer, conditions are better for many shipowners and so it seems they have more scope for maintenance. “It seems nobody wants to have issues causing downtime now that the rates are up,” says Peter Peltenburg, group director of Cargo Care Solutions.
