Anton Paar launches kinematic viscometer

The SVM 3001 Stabinger Viscometer has a single measuring cycling on a small sample volume, it yields kinematic viscosity, density, dynamic viscosity and viscosity index.

Its density cell is integrated which means the measurement does not need to be carried out separately.

One combined measuring cell covers the entire measuring range for viscosity, density and temperature and is filled in one go.

A minimum sample of only 1.5ml is sufficient for the multi-parameter results including calculation of API degrees.

SVM 3001 aims to create easy operation, injecting of the sample by syringe ensures simple, safe and fast handling as well as simple cleaning with a minimised risk of leakage or breakage.

It has an in-built display widget which shows measurement precision and repeat deviation for both viscosity and density at a glance.

While the storage capacity amounts to one thousand data points, and data export can be conveniently performed via USB storage devices, printers or ethernet.

The new SVM 3001 can also test grease and wax in compliance with ASTM D7042, D2270, D4052, D7152, D6074 and EN ISO 12185.
