Advanced integrated bridge for new offshore support ship
What is described as one of the most sophisticated offshore vessels in the market, the Troms Vision is equipped with the latest Transas integrated bridge solution TIBS 4000 Multifunction Display. The bridge system supplied by Transas is designed according to DNV Naut-OSV class and consists of five multifunction workstations and extended conning displays:
• 2 x Navi-Radar 4000 MFD Chart Radar (X and S Band)
• 1 x Navi-Radar 4000 MFD Chart Radar Slave with extended Navi-Conning 4000
• 1 x Navi-Sailor 4000 ECDIS MFD
• 1 x Navi-Sailor 4000 ECDIS MFD with extended Navi-Conning 4000
All stations are configured in a dual fully redundant network.
In addition, the vessel is supplied with the Transas Admiralty Data Service (TADS), which the company says enables completely paperless operation.
