API equipment for four newbuilds
The contract is for the delivery of Tank level Remote Sounding System TSS/BMS4 for icebreaking platform supply vessel (NB 511) and three icebreaking stand-by vessels (NB 512-514).
TSS/BMS4 is the next generation of electro-pneumatic systems for level and draught measurement, developed by API Marine, featuring improved modular design, enhanced capabilities and reduced costs.
This series of vessels will be built for the Russia´s largest shipyard company Sovcomflot. When completed, the vessels will serve the North East Sakhalin Offshore region oil and gas field.
Icebreaking supply vessel (NB 511) will be used as supply between land bases and the offshore drilling and production sites.
The other two icebreaking stand-by vessels (NB 512-514) will be used as supply vessels for cargo transfer, stand-by, and rescue duties and for oil spill recovery.
