BIO-SEA contract with Piriou

The French manufacturer will deliver three new systems in total for three B2M vessels.

These vessels allow police forces to assist the population, fight fires, carry goods and undertake crucial multi-missions for the surveillance and the protection of French territory.

BIO-UV has been cooperating closely more recently with a great number of partners, including Piriou shipyards, in order to provide modular, reliable, innovative and energy saving systems to newbuild vessels.

This latest contract follows a new contract with CMA CGM, to equip the group’s largest vessel, Vasco de Gama with a BWTS BIO-SEA2000 (2000m3/h) ballast water management system.

Founded in May 2000 and based in Southern France, BIO-UV specialises in UV-C light for water treatment, designs, manufactures, and offers worldwide UV solutions for water disinfection.
