Chloropac systems for Australian Navy
Evoqua will deliver Chloropac systems for installation by BAE Systems Australia Ltd onto eight ANZAC Class frigates over the next six years.
Chloropac seawater electrochlorination systems prevent marine and biological fouling for energy efficient, long-term plant operation. These systems generate a dilute, safe solution of sodium hypochlorite from natural seawater for direct injection into the sea water cooling circuits and sea chests.
More than 2,500 Chloropac systems are already installed worldwide and Evoqua has a good working relationship with the Australian, US and UK Navies.
Evoqua said its treatment systems and services help to ensure uninterrupted quantity and quality of water, enable regulatory and environmental compliance and increase efficiency through water reuse.
