Evac receives a new cruise vessel order

It is for the Evan Complete Cleantech Solution to cover the integrated waste and wastewater management systems for three large-scale cruise vessels, with a future option to outfit an additional vessel.

The initial three-vessel contract is valued at approximately €10m.

Evac product package for each of the three cruise vessels includes an Evac Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) waste water treatment plant. It aims to allow vessels to be operated in many Environmentally Sensitive Sea Areas (ESSAs) and Special Areas (SAs), which are defined internationally or nationally.

The contract also includes dry and wet waste treatment systems including an incinerator and recycling equipment.

First of the three vessels is expected for delivery in 2018, whilst the last vessel is scheduled for 2021.

The name of the client who made the deal with Evac cannot yet be disclosed.
