Evoqua updates marine growth prevention system

The system – an electro-chlorination alternative to copper anodes – has been redesigned to reduce installation time and costs and cut down on maintenance. The new system is also more compact, offering a 60% space saving on the previous version.

Darren Dale, sales director of Evoqua’s electrocatalytic business, said: “We listened to our customers’ requirements for an improved system, which was easier to install and maintain and capable of delivering substantial cost efficiencies. In response to this feedback, we have developed the latest version of the Chloropac MGPS, while maintaining the proven superior performance of Evoqua’s original system.”

Evoqua’s electrochlorination technology is used in several applications on land and sea. There are currently more than 2,500 Chloropac systems installed worldwide, with 75% of leading rig operators relying on Evoqua disinfection systems.

Evoqua Water Technologies will launch the revamped system at SMM Hamburg from 6-9 September (A1.508).
