GTT in LNG ULCV deal

The ten 24,000 teu vessels are being built by its partner the Chinese shipyard Yangzijiang and will each be equipped with a single LNG fuel tank with a 18,600m3 capacity. The tanks will be fitted with the Mark III membrane containment technology with a reported guaranteed low boil-off-rate.

Delivery of these vessels is scheduled between the second quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2028.

In addition to engineering services and technical assistance, GTT will help with every step of the project including commissioning of the LNG tank, first LNG bunkering operations and further operations and maintenance of the vessels.

GTT will also provide LNG training for the crews, supported by its G-Sim training simulator, which replicates the future LNG operations of the vessels, as well as its HEARS emergency response service with round-the-clock technical assistance.

In addition, GTT will fit these ten vessels with Ascenz Marork digital solutions, to monitor and optimise the operational performance of the vessels
