Navigational updates delivered to ships via e-mail
The Voyager service was launched in June 2008 and the company says that over 800 ships now subscribe to the service.
Version 2 of Voyager was recently released and incorporates a file compression module which allows file size reduction by a further 60%, which the company claims makes it the most technically advanced e-mail service in the market.
Thomas Gunn, managing director, adds: ” I have no doubt that this major break through in file compression techniques will lead to many more subscribers to the service. This has been further confirmed by the decision of a very large ship management company to adapt Voyager throughout its fleet. This is a major endorsement of our commitment to investing in the latest technologies to ensure our customers get the best possible service.”
