New filtration company set up in Denmark

The company has been set up to develop, produce and market filter systems that are capable of cleaning oil-polluted bilge water, fuel and hydraulic oil. The range of products will include related electronic measuring equipment. The filters are said to work without chemicals and the equipment does not require major investment.

Partners are Kate Bjerrum, Michael Dyrbye Christensen and Holger Schou Madsen, and the company will be established in Hoersholm, north of Copenhagen. Michael Dyrbye Christensen will head sales and marketing of the patented and certified filter products.

The company will invest in new technology in order to help the industry companies and ship operators meet increasing environmental demands while saving money overall.
