Overload test for large crane

The crane has been installed onboard the dive support vessel Mermaid Asiana at ASL Shipyard in Singapore. Heila says that the crane was designed in accordance with API2C and both design and testing phases were reviewed by ABS. The company claims that without limitations from cylinder stroke or accumulators the completely water-cooled crane is capable of achieving an active heave compensation speed of 130 m/min.
