Wärtsilä has launched a new ballast water treatment system, the BWT 500i, which has been developed together with the companys technology partner Trojan Marinex, the marine water solution division of Trojan Technologies.

Wärtsilä launched its communication and control centre (known as Wärtsilä 3C) solution, intended to integrate the entire vessels control into one solution, at the SMM exhibition in Hamburg, Germany.
