Wärtsilä secures LNG maintenance deal
The agreement, effective from August 2025 and booked in Wärtsilä’s Q3 order intake, is focused on enhancing operational reliability and optimising maintenance for the vessels.
The deal will cover the Al Tuwar, Al Mas’habiyyah, and Fat’h Al Khair, each approximately 300 metres long and equipped with dual-fuel Wärtsilä 34DF engines.

“Wärtsilä’s lifecycle agreements play an important role here, ensuring we continue to optimise the operations and maintenance of our vessels more effectively.”
A key feature of the agreement is Wärtsilä’s Expert Insight predictive maintenance solution, which uses real-time engine data for early issue detection and reduced unscheduled downtime. The system also includes dynamic maintenance planning and round-the-clock remote support, helping to reduce overall OPEX and improve asset availability.

The new agreement builds on the successful 2023 Wärtsilä partnership covering the Dapeng Princess, the world’s largest shallow draft LNG carrier.
