YANMAR Europe partners with NORIS
NORIS is a specialist in the fields of measuring and automation for various industries, including shipbuilding.

Under the agreement, NORIS will be a single source supplier of operation panels for YANMAR diesel engines. The service includes customised built-in software and optional panels for remotely controlling performance indicators, like engine speed, and start-stop functions, monitoring alarms and other parameters. NORIS has installed 40 systems since 2016, on projects ranging from individual trawlers up to a series of eight ships under construction in Okskaya Shipyard, Russia.
NORIS has built an engine simulator for the YANMAR engines to simulate commissioning and possible errors at the company’s training centre in Nuremberg. The first training courses for YANMAR technicians were held in December 2018.
