Yara scrubbers for Jüngerhans newbuilds

The scrubber systems will be installed on four newbuilds currently under construction at Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard.The new vessels will be fully emission compliant using any HFO fuel both inside the current North European SECA, as well as outside SECAs when the new global sulphur regulation takes effect. Delivery of the first vessel is expected to be before the last quarter of 2017.

Yara Marine scrubbers can clean fuel with sulphur content up to 3.5% down to the strictest IMO sulphur emission control area (SECA) requirement of 0.1%. They will be installed in full compliance with the International Maritime Organisation’s new SOx cap, which will be implemented from 2020.
